Slater and Gordon

We are proud to announce a new two year partnership with nationwide law firm Slater and Gordon who are generously supporting part of our outreach team and the Lighthouse Project, a new parental-support initiative.

Specialists in personal injury, medical negligence, employment, family & divorce along with Wills, Trusts & Probate, and branches throughout the UK, the law firm has just opened a new office in Queens Road, Brighton.

“Resources for parents of children with cerebral palsy and other disabilities can be scarce and support is much needed but hard to find. DVLCC is a lifeline for many of the families who access its services, and we know from hearing first-hand from our clients how vital family outreach and specific support for parents are.

We are so pleased to be able to support the DVLCC team in growing and developing its services even further and help even more families who can benefit so much from its interventions.” – Nisha Sharma, Principal Lawyer at Slater & Gordon.

Kingsley Napley

We are so pleased to announce that the Medical Negligence and Personal Injury Team at Law Firm Kingsley Napley are now supporting our Speech and Language service.

The Team are specialists in birth and neonatal injury claims, in particular those relating to cerebral palsy. The firm are based in Central London but act for seriously injured people across the country.

‘We recognise the vital work DVLCC is doing to provide early SLT intervention and support.  This support is seriously under resourced within the statutory system, leaving far too many children without any meaningful input before they reach school age.   We are therefore truly delighted to be able to support the DVLCC team in continuing to provide and develop its SLT services and resources.  In our work representing families impacted by avoidable brain injuries we recognise how often vital support is simply unavailable or unaffordable to the majority of people.‘  – Sharon Burkill, Legal Director at Kingsley Napley.
